As if all of the sessions at G-Force weren't enough, Genesys is also offering a full day of free post conference sessions (Education Day) and several free certification exams. It's like music to your ears…and your pocketbook.

Free Education Day

Genesys University is providing free Education Day sessions after G-Force, on Thursday, May 25. Reinforce the strategic content of G-Force with your choice of four complimentary post-conference half-day sessions (up to a $700 value).

If you are planning on attending Education Day, please register at the same time when you register for G-Force 2006. Also, please be sure to book your hotel and travel arrangements accordingly, departing on the evening of May 25 or on May 26.

Genesys Voice Platform Troubleshooting (8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.)
This session is based on the two-day Genesys University course which covers techniques for maintaining and troubleshooting GVP, including analyzing GVP log files. It is intended for those with experience installing, administering and operating GVP who want to learn more about troubleshooting techniques relevant to GVP.

Info Mart Overview (8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.)
Info Mart Overview is an abridged version of the one-day Genesys University IMO course. The session gives students an overview of Genesys Info Mart's technical architecture, as well as a discussion of how Info Mart fits into the Genesys Reporting offerings, the Info Mart star schema, the Info Mart ETL process and sample Info Mart queries. Genesys Info Mart Overview is the starting point for all Info Mart courses in the Genesys University curriculum. This session is designed for anybody who wants a technical and functional overview of Genesys Info Mart.

Framework and Routing Troubleshooting (1:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m.)
Based on the three-day Genesys University course, this session gives students techniques for maintaining and troubleshooting T-Server, Stat Server and Universal Routing Server (URS). It is designed for an audience involved in the maintenance and troubleshooting of Genesys solutions.

Genesys IP Contact Center Solutions (1:00 p.m.–5:00 p.m.)
This session provides an overview of the new Genesys IP capabilities and associated products. It seeks to provide a foundation for future IP product course offerings by product or platform. Delegates are introduced to how the Genesys IP product line supports a hybrid or pure IP contact center environment; an emphasis is placed on the added value that SIP can provide the customer. This session is intended for an audience involved in designing (or evaluating) a migration to a pure or hybrid IP Genesys environment.

Free Certification Exams

Certification exams will be offered on May 24 and 25 (up to a $900 value per test)

Exams will be given during the following times:
Wednesday, May 24 and Thursday, May 25*
9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The following certification exams will be offered:

Genesys Certified Professional Version 7—System Consultant, Inbound Voice (GCP7–CIV)
This certification for Version 7 is primarily targeted at Genesys partners worldwide that assist Genesys customers in planning, installation and configuration. This certification validates the candidate's comprehensive understanding of the Genesys Framework, Routing and Reporting Solution components. A Genesys Certified Professional - System Consultant for Inbound Voice is recognized as having achieved a knowledge foundation in implementation procedures, basic troubleshooting and maintenance of Genesys products.

Genesys Certified Professional Version 7—Developer, Inbound Voice Routing (GCP7–DIV)
This certification for Version 7 is available to all Genesys routing developers involved in creating and/or maintaining routing strategies in the contact center. This certification validates the candidate's comprehensive understanding of the Genesys Framework and Inbound Voice Routing coupled with the ability to plan routing strategies based on business requirements and describe the impact of the interaction flow on other systems within the Genesys contact center.

Genesys Certified Professional Version 7—System Consultant, GVP Enterprise Edition (GCP7–CVE)
This certification for Version 7 is available to all system administrators, solution integrators, telephony specialists and any other technical role involved in planning, installation, configuration and maintenance of Genesys Voice Platform solutions for the enterprise edition. This certification validates the candidate's comprehensive understanding of GVP components, how they integrate with the Genesys 7 Suite, the use of VoiceXML with GVP, how to analyze log files and monitor the system.

These tests are complimentary for all G-Force attendees and are given on a first-come, first-served basis. The value of each test is $900, but as a special offer, attendees can take the certification tests for free. You can sign-up when you register for other G-Force seminars. Remember that space is limited.
